C uvîntul Domnului vorbise prin proorocul Iehu, fiul lui Hanani, împotriva lui Baeşa, şi împotriva casei lui, pe deoparte pentru tot răul pe care -l făcuse supt ochii Domnului, mîniindu -L prin lucrul mînilor lui şi ajungînd ca şi casa lui Ieroboam, iar pe de alta pentrucă lovise casa lui Ieroboam.

And also through the prophet Jehu the son of Hanani the word of Jehovah came against Baasha, and against his house, even for all the evil that he did in the sight of Jehovah, provoking him to anger with the work of his hands, in being like the house of Jeroboam; and because he had smitten him.
