O mul lui Dumnezeu a plecat; şi a fost întîlnit pe drum de un leu care l -a omorît. Trupul lui mort era întins pe drum; măgarul a rămas lîngă el, şi leul stătea şi el lîngă trup.

When he had gone, a lion met him by the way and killed him. His body was thrown on the path, and the donkey stood by it. The lion also stood by the body.
