L untrea, pusă la îndemîna împăratului, tocmai pornise ca să -i treacă şi casa dincolo; şi în clipa cînd era să treacă împăratul Iordarnul, Şimei, fiul lui Ghera, s'a închinat înaintea lui.

And a ferry boat passed to and fro to carry over the king's household, and to do what he thought good. And Shimei the son of Gera fell down before the king as he was crossing over the Jordan.
