F ratele ei Absalom, i -a zis:,, A stat fratele tău Amnon cu tine? Acum, soro, taci, căci este fratele tău; nu te prea trece cu firea din pricina aceasta.`` Şi Tamar, nemîngîiată, a locuit în casa fratelui ei Absalom.

And Absalom her brother said to her, Has Amnon thy brother been with thee? and now, my sister, be still: he is thy brother; take not this thing to heart. And Tamar remained, and desolate, in her brother Absalom's house.
