C înd s'a sfîrşit argintul din ţara Egiptului şi din ţara Canaanului, toţi Egiptenii au venit la Iosif, şi au zis:,, Dă-ne pîne! Pentruce să murim în faţa ta? Căci argint nu mai avem.``

And when money failed in the land of Egypt and in the land of Canaan, all the Egyptians came unto Joseph and said, Give us bread, for why should we die in thy presence for the money fails?
