E l nu este mai mare decît mine în casa aceasta, şi nu mi -a oprit nimic, afară de tine, pentrucă eşti nevasta lui. Cum aş putea să fac eu un rău atît de mare şi să păcătuiesc împotriva lui Dumnezeu?``

There is none greater in this house than I; neither has he withheld anything from me but thee, because thou art his wife; and how should I do this great wickedness, and sin against God?
