E i au dat lui Iacov toţi dumnezeii străini, cari erau în mînile lor, şi cerceii pe cari -i purtau în urechi. Iacov i -a îngropat în pămînt supt stejarul de lîngă Sihem.

So they gave to Jacob all the strange gods they had and their earrings which were in their ears; and Jacob buried and hid them under the oak near Shechem.
