D umnezeu i -a zis:,, Numele tău este Iacov; dar nu te vei mai chema Iacov, ci numele tău va fi Israel.`` Şi i -a pus numele Israel.

Again God said to him, Your name is Jacob; you shall not be called Jacob any longer, but Israel shall be your name. So He called him Israel.
