F emeia a văzut că pomul era bun de mîncat şi plăcut de privit, şi că pomul era de dorit ca să deschidă cuiva mintea. A luat deci din rodul lui, şi a mîncat; a dat şi bărbatului ei, care era lîngă ea, şi bărbatul a mîncat şi el.

The woman saw that the tree was good for food, and pleasing to the eyes, and could fill the desire of making one wise. So she took of its fruit and ate. She also gave some to her husband, and he ate.
