D omnul Dumnezeu a făcut pe om din ţărîna pămîntului, i -a suflat în nări suflare de viaţă, şi omul s'a făcut astfel un suflet viu.

Yahweh God formed man from the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
