E ntão Aquis chamou Davi e lhe disse: “Juro, pelo nome do Senhor, que você tem sido leal, e ficaria contente em tê-lo servindo comigo no exército. Desde o dia em que você veio a mim, nunca desconfiei de você, mas os governantes não o aprovam.

¶ Then Achish called David and said unto him, Surely, as the LORD lives, thou hast been upright, and thy going out and thy coming in with me in the camp is good in my sight; for I have not found evil in thee since the day of thy coming unto me unto this day; nevertheless, thou art not good in the eyes of the cardinals.
