O s comandantes dos filisteus perguntaram: “O que estes hebreus fazem aqui?” Aquis respondeu: “Este é Davi, que era oficial de Saul, rei de Israel. Ele já está comigo há mais de um ano e, desde o dia em que deixou Saul, nada fez que mereça desconfiança”.

And the heads of the Philistines say, `What these Hebrews?' and Achish saith unto the heads of the Philistines, `Is not this David servant of Saul king of Israel, who hath been with me these days or these years, and I have not found in him anything from the day of his falling away till this day.'
