E ntão, o sacerdote lhe deu os pães consagrados, visto que não havia outro além do pão da Presença, que era retirado de diante do Senhor e substituído por pão quente no dia em que era tirado.

So the priest gave him holy bread, for there was no bread there but the showbread which was taken from before the Lord to put hot bread in its place the day when it was taken away.
