S e, tendo escapado das contaminações do mundo por meio do conhecimento de nosso Senhor e Salvador Jesus Cristo, encontram-se novamente nelas enredados e por elas dominados, estão em pior estado do que no princípio.

For if, after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled in them and overcome, the latter end is worse for them than the beginning.
