V endo Josué e todo o Israel que os homens da emboscada tinham tomado a cidade e que desta subia fumaça, deram meia-volta e atacaram os homens de Ai.

When Joshua and all Israel saw that the ambush had taken the city and that the smoke of the city went up, they turned again and slew the men of Ai.
