M as os seus antepassados clamaram a mim, e eu coloquei trevas entre vocês e os egípcios; fiz voltar o mar sobre eles e os encobrir. Vocês viram com os seus próprios olhos o que eu fiz com os egípcios. Depois disso vocês viveram no deserto longo tempo.

And when they cried unto the Lord, he put darkness between you and the Egyptians, and brought the sea upon them, and covered them; and your eyes have seen what I have done in Egypt: and ye dwelt in the wilderness a long season.
