S e assim fosse, Cristo precisaria sofrer muitas vezes, desde o começo do mundo. Mas agora ele apareceu uma vez por todas no fim dos tempos, para aniquilar o pecado mediante o sacrifício de si mesmo.

For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.
