Hebreus 4:2 ~ Hebrews 4:2

P ois as boas novas foram pregadas também a nós, tanto quanto a eles; mas a mensagem que eles ouviram de nada lhes valeu, pois não foi acompanhada de fé por aqueles que a ouviram.

For indeed the gospel was preached to us as well as to them; but the word which they heard did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in those who heard it.
