A ssim, se lhes escrevi, não foi por causa daquele que cometeu o erro nem daquele que foi prejudicado, mas para que diante de Deus vocês pudessem ver por si próprios como são dedicados a nós.

So although I did write to you, it was not for the sake and because of the one who did wrong, nor on account of the one who suffered wrong, but in order that you might realize before God how zealously you do care for us.
