M as os judeus ficaram com inveja. Reuniram alguns homens perversos dentre os desocupados e, com a multidão, iniciaram um tumulto na cidade. Invadiram a casa de Jasom, em busca de Paulo e Silas, a fim de trazê-los para o meio da multidão.

But the unpersuaded Jews took along some wicked men from the marketplace, and gathering a crowd, set the city in an uproar. Assaulting the house of Jason, they sought to bring them out to the people.
