S e a sua mão ou o seu pé o fizerem tropeçar, corte-os e jogue-os fora. É melhor entrar na vida mutilado ou aleijado do que, tendo as duas mãos ou os dois pés, ser lançado no fogo eterno.

And if thy hand or thy foot offend thee, cut it off and cast from thee; it is good for thee to enter into life lame or maimed, than having two hands or two feet to be cast into eternal fire.
