D iante disso, os supervisores e os sátrapas procuraram motivos para acusar Daniel em sua administração governamental, mas nada conseguiram. Não puderam achar nele falta alguma, pois ele era fiel; não era desonesto nem negligente.

Then the presidents and princes sought to find occasion against Daniel concerning the kingdom; but they could find none occasion nor fault; forasmuch as he was faithful, neither was there any error or fault found in him.
