E ntão eu fiz o que me foi ordenado. Durante o dia levei para fora as minhas coisas, arrumadas para o exílio. Depois, à tarde, fiz com as mãos um buraco no muro. Ao entardecer saí com a minha bagagem carregando-a nos ombros à vista de todos.

And I did so as I was commanded: I brought forth my stuff by day, as stuff for captivity, and in the even I digged through the wall with mine hand; I brought it forth in the twilight, and I bare it upon my shoulder in their sight.
