E ntão Jeremias disse a Zedequias: “Assim diz o Senhor dos Exércitos, Deus de Israel: ‘Se você se render imediatamente aos oficiais do rei da Babilônia, sua vida será poupada e esta cidade não será incendiada; você e a sua família viverão.
