S eja a vergonha a nossa cama e a desonra, o nosso cobertor. Pecamos contra o Senhor, o nosso Deus, tanto nós como os nossos antepassados, desde a nossa juventude até o dia de hoje; e não temos obedecido ao Senhor, ao nosso Deus.”

Let us lie prostrate in our shame, and let our dishonor and confusion cover us; for we have sinned against the Lord our God, we and our fathers; from our youth even to this day we have not obeyed the voice of the Lord our God.
