P or isso o Senhor não terá nos jovens motivo de alegria, nem terá piedade dos órfãos e das viúvas, pois todos são hipócritas e perversos, e todos falam loucuras. Apesar disso tudo, a ira dele não se desviou; sua mão continua erguida.

Therefore the Lord will not rejoice over their young men, neither will He have compassion on their fatherless and widows, for everyone is profane and an evildoer, and every mouth speaks folly. For all this, anger is not turned away, but His hand is still stretched out.
