Esdras 9:8 ~ Ezra 9:8

M as agora, por um breve momento, o Senhor, o nosso Deus, foi misericordioso, deixando-nos um remanescente e dando-nos um lugar seguro em seu santuário, e dessa maneira o nosso Deus ilumina os nossos olhos e nos dá um pequeno alívio em nossa escravidão.

But now for a short time loving-favor has been shown to us from the Lord our God. He has kept some of us alive to return to get a hold on His holy place, that our God may give light to our eyes, and give us some new life while we are under the power of Persia.
