O s sacerdotes e os levitas tinham se purificado; estavam todos cerimonialmente puros. Os levitas sacrificaram o cordeiro da Páscoa por todos os exilados, por seus colegas sacerdotes e por eles mesmos.

For the religious leaders and the Levites had made themselves holy together. All of them were clean. Then they killed the Passover lamb for all the people, for their brothers the religious leaders, and for themselves.
