E zequias descansou com os seus antepassados e foi sepultado na colina onde estão os túmulos dos descendentes de Davi. Todo o Judá e o povo de Jerusalém prestaram-lhe homenagens por ocasião da sua morte. E seu filho Manassés foi o seu sucessor.

Hezekiah slept with his fathers, and they buried him in the ascent of the tombs of the sons of David: and all Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem did him honor at his death. Manasseh his son reigned in his place.
