E le reuniu os sacerdotes e os levitas e lhes disse: “Vão às cidades de Judá e recolham o imposto devido anualmente por todo o Israel, para fazer reparos no templo de seu Deus. Vão agora mesmo!” Os levitas, porém, não agiram imediatamente.

He gathered the religious leaders and Levites, and said to them, “Go out to the cities of Judah. And gather money from all Israel to pay for the work needed to be done on the house of your God from year to year. Be quick about it.” But the Levites did not hurry.
