M as Jeoseba, filha do rei Jeorão, pegou Joás, um dos filhos do rei Acazias que iam ser assassinados, e o colocou num quarto, junto com a sua ama. Assim Jeoseba, filha do rei Jeorão, mulher do sacerdote Joiada e irmã de Acazias, escondeu Joás de Atalia, de forma que ela não pôde matá-lo.

But Jehosheba, the daughter of the king, took Joash son of Ahaziah and stole him away from among the king’s sons who were to be slain, and she put him and his nurse in a bedchamber. So Jehosheba daughter of King Jehoram, sister of Ahaziah, and wife of Jehoiada the priest, hid from Athaliah, so that she did not slay him.
