B en-Hadade aceitou a proposta do rei Asa e ordenou aos comandantes das suas forças que atacassem as cidades de Israel. Eles conquistaram Ijom, Dã, Abel-Maim e todas as cidades-armazéns de Naftali.

Ben Hadad listened to king Asa, and sent the captains of his armies against the cities of Israel; and they struck Ijon, and Dan, and Abel Maim, and all the storage cities of Naphtali.
