E ntão o rei Davi disse a toda a assembléia: “Deus escolheu meu filho Salomão, e mais ninguém. Mas ele é jovem e inexperiente e a tarefa é grande, pois o palácio não será feito para homens, mas para o Senhor, o nosso Deus.


¶ Furthermore, David, the king, said unto all the congregation, Only Solomon, my son, has God chosen; he is young and tender, and the work is great, for the palace is not for man, but for the LORD God.
