T alvez o Senhor, o teu Deus, ouça todas as palavras do comandante de campo, a quem o senhor dele, o rei da Assíria, enviou para zombar do Deus vivo. E que o Senhor, o teu Deus, o repreenda pelas palavras que ouviu. Portanto, suplica a Deus pelo remanescente que ainda sobrevive’”.

It may be Jehovah thy God will hear all the words of Rab-shakeh, whom the king of Assyria his master has sent to reproach the living God; and will rebuke the words which Jehovah thy God has heard. Therefore lift up a prayer for the remnant that is left.
