E le se apegou ao Senhor e não deixou de segui-lo; obedeceu aos mandamentos que o Senhor tinha dado a Moisés.

إذْ تَمَسَّكَ بِاللهِ بِقُوَّةٍ، وَظَلَّ عَلَى وَفائِهِ لَهُ. وَأطاعَ كُلَّ الوَصايا الَّتِي أعطاها اللهُ لِمُوسَى.
