O s israelitas praticaram o mal secretamente contra o Senhor, o seu Deus. Em todas as suas cidades, desde as torres das sentinelas até as cidades fortificadas, eles construíram altares idólatras.

The people of Israel did things in secret which were not right, against the Lord their God. They built high places for themselves in all their towns, from the smallest town to the strongest city.
