“ Agora, Senhor, Deus de Israel, cumpre a outra promessa que fizeste a teu servo Davi, meu pai, quando disseste: ‘Você nunca deixará de ter, diante de mim, um descendente que se assente no trono de Israel, se tão-somente os seus descendentes tiverem o cuidado de, em tudo, andarem segundo a minha vontade, como você tem feito’.

Therefore, Lord God of Israel, now keep what You promised Your servant David my father, saying, ‘You shall not fail to have a man sit before Me on the throne of Israel, only if your sons take heed to their way, that they walk before Me as you have walked before Me.’
