J osé era o governador do Egito e era ele que vendia trigo a todo o povo da terra. Por isso, quando os irmãos de José chegaram, curvaram-se diante dele, rosto em terra.

Now Joseph was the governor over the land, and he it was who sold to all the people of the land; and Joseph’s brothers came and bowed themselves down before him with their faces to the ground.
