N a manhã seguinte, Abraão pegou alguns pães e uma vasilha de couro cheia d’água, entregou-os a Hagar e, tendo-os colocado nos ombros dela, despediu-a com o menino. Ela se pôs a caminho e ficou vagando pelo deserto de Berseba.

¶ So Abraham rose up early in the morning and took bread and a bottle of water and gave it unto Hagar, putting it on her shoulder, and the child and sent her away; and she departed and wandered in the wilderness of Beersheba.
