V acile au mers direct pe drumul care duce la Bet-Şemeş; ele au ţinut mereu acelaşi drum, mugind, şi nu s-au întors nici la dreapta, nici la stânga. Domnitorii filistenilor au mers după ele până la marginea cetăţii Bet-Şemeş.

And the cows went straight toward Beth-shemesh along the highway, lowing as they went, and turned not aside to the right or the left. And the Philistine lords followed them as far as the border of Beth-shemesh.
