N ora sa, soţia lui Fineas, era însărcinată şi urma să nască. Când a auzit ea vestea despre capturarea Chivotului lui Dumnezeu şi despre moartea socrului şi a soţului ei, s-a încovoiat şi a născut pentru că o apucaseră durerile naşterii.

¶ And his daughter-in-law, Phinehas’s wife, was with child, near to be delivered, and when she heard the tidings that the ark of God was taken and that her father-in-law and her husband were dead, she bowed herself and travailed, for her pains had come upon her.
