C onducătorii filistenilor însă au zis: – Ce caută evreii aceştia aici? Achiş le-a răspuns: – Acesta este David, slujitorul lui Saul, regele lui Israel. El este la mine de mai bine de un an şi, de când a venit la mine şi până astăzi, nu am găsit în el nici un lucru de care să-l învinuiesc.

Then the princes of the Philistines said, What are these Hebrews doing here? And Achish replied unto the princes of the Philistines, Is not this David, the slave of Saul, the king of Israel, who has been with me these days or these years, and I have found no fault in him since he fell unto me unto this day?
