A poi David a strigat către popor şi l-a chemat pe Abner, fiul lui Ner, zicând: – Abner, nu răspunzi? Abner a răspuns: – Cine-l strigă pe rege?

وَنادَى داوُدُ عَلَى الجَيشِ وَعَلَى أبْنِيْرَ بْنِ نَيْرٍ: «أجِبْنِي يا أبْنَيْرُ!» فَأجابَ أبْنَيْرُ: «مَنْ أنتَ؟ وَلِماذا تُنادِي عَلَى المَلِكِ؟»
