A tunci David i-a spus lui Abiatar: – Am ştiut în ziua aceea că edomitul Doeg, fiind acolo, sigur îi va da de ştire lui Saul. Eu sunt vinovat de moartea tuturor celor din familia tatălui tău.

And David said unto Abiathar, I knew it that day, when Doeg the Edomite was there, that he would surely tell Saul: I have occasioned the death of all the persons of thy father's house.
