R egele s-a aşezat pe locul său obişnuit, lângă perete, avându-l pe Ionatan în faţa sa, iar pe Abner lângă el, în timp ce locul lui David era gol.

وَكانَ المَلكُ جالساً كَعادَتِهِ إلَى جِدارِ الحائِطِ، بَينَما جَلَسَ ناثانُ مُقابِلَهُ. وَجَلَسَ أبْنَيْرُ إلَى جانِبِ شاوُلَ. أمّا مَكانُ داوُدَ فَكانَ فارِغاً.
