A tunci luptătorii lui Israel şi cei ai lui Iuda s-au ridicat, au scos un strigăt de război şi i-au urmărit pe filisteni până la intrarea în Gat şi până la porţile Ekronului. Filistenii, răniţi de moarte, au căzut pe drumul Şaarayimului până la Gat şi la Ekron.

The men of Israel and of Judah arose and shouted, and pursued the Philistines as far as Gai and to the gates of Ekron. The wounded of the Philistines fell down by the way to Shaaraim, even to Gath and to Ekron.
