D avid a legat sabia lui Saul peste armură şi a încercat să meargă, deoarece nu era obişnuit cu ele. S-a dezbrăcat însă de ele, spunându-i lui Saul: – Nu pot să merg cu ele, căci nu sunt obişnuit.

David fastened his sword to his armor and tried to walk, for he had not tested them. And David said to Saul, “I cannot walk with these, for I have not tested them. ” So David took them off.
