C ei din sfatul bătrânilor Iabeşului i-au zis: – Lasă-ne un răgaz de şapte zile pentru a putea trimite mesageri în toate teritoriile lui Israel, iar dacă nu va fi nimeni care să ne elibereze, ne vom preda ţie.
