A monitul Nahaş a venit şi şi-a aşezat tabăra împotriva Iabeşului din Ghilad. Atunci toţi bărbaţii din Iabeş i-au zis lui Nahaş: – Încheie cu noi un legământ, iar noi îţi vom sluji.
