B ărbatul se numea Elimelek, soţia lui se numea Naomi, iar cei doi fii ai săi se numeau Mahlon şi Chilion. Ei erau efratiţi din Betleemul lui Iuda. Când au ajuns în câmpiile Moabului, s-au stabilit acolo.

The name of the man was Elimelech. His wife’s name was Naomi. And the names of his two sons were Mahlon and Chilion. They were Ephrathites of Bethlehem in Judah. They went into the land of Moab and stayed there.
